Company behind Michigan spill had record of violations

Enbridge, the Canadian company whose leaky pipeline has sent more than 1 million gallons of oil into a Michigan river, had a long record of leaks, spills and safety violations. Federal records show that the company has received 30 "enforcement actions" since 2002, including a warning issued for failing to correctly monitor corrosion on the pipe that burst this week.
