Google offers location-based mobile banner ad

Smartphone and mobile-device users may soon encounter a new kind of banner ad from Google, which takes their location into account and features offers from nearby marketers. A click causes the ad to expand and feature a Google Maps interface, with the advertiser spotlighted on the map.
