States ask FDA to require full disclosure on food labels

Connecticut Attorney General Richard Blumenthal has joined 11 other states in asking the FDA to require full, unbiased disclosure of nutrition information on labels to give consumers clear, consistent food guidance. He said full disclosure also will push food manufacturers to develop healthier food alternatives.
