Consumers have more options for healthier lean beef, RD says

Changes in the breeding and feeding of cattle have led to lower-fat beef cuts that can be included in a healthy diet, registered dietitian Katie Wilhelmi writes. She notes that 29 cuts of beef are considered "lean," according to government guidelines, meaning a 3.5-ounce cooked serving has less than 10 grams of total fat.
