Dropbox brings on ex-Salesforce executive for B2B push

Dropbox recently launched administrative and security tools to allow more business control over information uploaded to its servers, and the company hopes its hire of a former Salesforce.com executive will help it make the case for corporate use. Ross Piper, who served as Salesforce's senior vice president of enterprise strategy and alliances, said Dropbox will continue to roll out new security measures and will form a panel of chief information officers to help direct its new product development.
