Dual-fuel Aviat Husky CNG is unveiled at AirVenture

Aviat Aircraft unveiled the Husky CNG, a piston-powered aircraft that can fly on both compressed natural gas and aviation gasoline with just the flip of a switch. "Among the many advantages of using CNG are fuel cost savings, cleaner burning fuel and no lead emissions," said Greg Herrick, president of the Aviation Foundation of America. Herrick brought the idea of building an aircraft that could fly on natural gas to Aviat in early 2013.
