Great River Energy to break ground on $150M N.D. ethanol project

Great River Energy will hold a groundbreaking ceremony on Aug. 9 for its Dakota Spirit AgEnergy ethanol plant project near Jamestown, N.D., said project engineer Rich Garman. The $150 million biorefinery, which is expected to produce about 65 million gallons of ethanol annually, will create 275 construction jobs during its buildout.
