Japan tax decision may not come until October

Facing warnings from advisers on the delicate state of Japan's nascent recovery, Prime Minister Shinzo Abe may put off until October a decision on whether to proceed with a planned sales tax boost, an aide said. Earlier, Standard & Poor's said the tax increase runs the risk of economic harm in a rare instance of ratings-agency skepticism over austerity.
