NBC may not cover Russia's anti-gay crackdown during broadcasts of Olympics

Mark Lazarus, the head of NBC Sports, said Sunday that the network would cover Russia's new anti-gay laws only if they become an issue during the Winter Olympics, which will be held in Sochi next year. Lazarus said the issue has already been dealt with by the International Olympic Committee, which said it has received assurances from Russian officials that the laws would not affect LGBT athletes or attendees.
