Oprah Winfrey's OWN is now turning a profit

Oprah Winfrey's OWN in the latest quarter became "cash flow positive" and has started to "pay down" the investment from co-owner Discovery Communications, whose stake has decreased to $509 million, said Andrew Warren, Discovery's chief financial officer. OWN's turnaround was helped by successful launches of two series from Tyler Perry, as well as higher fees from pay-TV providers, Discovery CEO David Zaslav said.
