Redbird to rebuild Skyhawks for use in training programs

Redbird Flight Simulations announced that it will refit early to mid-1980s Cessna Skyhawks with Centurion 2.0 turbodiesel single-lever control engines for use in training programs at its school in San Marcos, Texas. Upgrades to the airplanes will be completed in a new factory that it plans to construct near its Skyport fixed-base operation in San Marcos, and additional planes will be sold to other training programs.
