Scientists study the spin of black holes

Astronomers studying black holes have developed a method to measure the spin of the space phenomenon, providing clues to how galaxies evolve. "Understanding this connection between stars in a galaxy and the growth of a black hole, and vice versa, is the key to understanding how galaxies form throughout cosmic time," said lead author Chris Done of the University of Durham in the U.K.
