Good leaders must be gifted communicators, but also good learners to work well in a team environment, leadership expert Peter Bregman writes in this blog post. They also must be able to take risks, respond well to challenges and criticism, and value what is ultimately best for the organization, not just themselves, Bregman writes. "They must be good-hearted, mutually respectful, and gracious, resisting the urge to dominate, take the upper hand, or shine at the expense of others," he notes.
