CFATS reauthorization bill wins bipartisan vote in Senate panel

The revised version of the Chemical Facility Anti-Terrorism Standards Program Authorization and Accountability Act has cleared the Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs. The bill, which would reauthorize the CFATS program for four years, is the companion measure to one passed by the House in July.
