BBDO loses Lay's, Cheetos to other roster shops

PepsiCo's Frito-Lay division is moving assignments for Lay's potato chips and Cheetos to two rosters shops, without conducting a review. Element 79, Chicago, which works on Fritos and Tostitos, will take over the $60 million Lay's account, while Goodby, Silverstein & Partners, San Francisco, which worked on Doritos, will assume the $20 million Cheetos account. Both were previously repped by BBDO, New York.
