Las Vegas second-graders win battle against green beans

A polite letter-writing campaign by Las Vegas second-graders to do away with frozen green beans in the school cafeteria succeeded: They will now have other options, like carrots and corn. "A little boy said, 'Anything, anything, I'll even eat broccoli,'" said Connie Duits, the elementary school's lunch lady.
