Florida officials are pushing to get government and public buildings certified as green, the Orlando Sentinel editorial board writes. The board notes that nongovernment entities must go green for the state to meet its emissions goals. "Whether you're a business owner or homeowner, going green should help your bottom line," the board writes. "It may cost you more up front to invest in green building materials and green designs, but you could come out ahead paying lower energy bills later."
