Study: Lion's share of Chicago teachers receive top grades

Grade inflation has hit Chicago teachers, according to a new study by Tim Daly, president of The New Teachers Project. Over a four-year period ending in 2006, 61% of Chicago teachers drew the topmost "superior" rating and 32% were judged as being "excellent," while only 0.3% were "unsatisfactory."
