Microsoft to host in-car Internet searches

Microsoft has announced a new initiative called Microsoft Live Search for Devices, which will host Internet searches for automakers looking to develop in-car "infotainment" systems. Car companies could connect the system to local cell phone networks and provide drivers with updated information on everything from gas stations to pizza parlors.
