New currency in Zimbabwe turns $10 billion into $1

In another bid to halt rapid inflation in Zimbabwe -- which reached 2.2 million percent last month compared with a year earlier -- the country's central bank announced the introduction of a new currency. Under the new system, $10 billion in the old currency is worth $1 in the new one.
