Research shows more exercise needed to sustain weight loss

Overweight and obese women may have to exercise 55 minutes a day for five days a week -- along with reducing their calorie intake -- to maintain a 10% weight loss in a two-year period, researchers report. They say interventions, such as in-person conversations and telephone calls, are needed to help women achieve that amount of exercise.
