UN Foundation enlists corporate partners in mobile health effort

Vodafone Group Foundation will help spearhead a one-week conference in Italy designed to develop ways to improve health care through mobile technologies in emerging countries. Through its UN Foundation partnership, Vodafone Group Foundation will join such giants as Google, Microsoft, Cisco, Nokia and Qualcomm in the mobile health and mobile telemedicine effort, which will also be fronted by Telemedicine Society of India.
