Union: Contract talks with Boeing going downhill fast

The lead negotiator for the International Association of Machinists union in Seattle said contract talks with Boeing are not going well at all, meaning a strike could be in store in September if things don't improve. One issue of contention is Boeing's strategy of global outsourcing for its 787 Dreamliner program, and union representatives say the outcome of the negotiations will demonstrate how Boeing values its local work force in the Puget Sound area.
