Market is juicy for "better burgers"

The market for restaurants serving premium hamburgers is growing. Five Guys Burgers and Fries and Smashburger have had great success and are opening more outlets. These "better burger" restaurants earned $1.6 billion in sales last year and fit into the fast-casual food category, while quickservice chains have expanded their menus outside of hamburgers.
