German firm develops V-12 diesel engine for general aviation

Raikhlin Aircraft Engine Developments of Germany displayed a V-12 diesel engine for general aviation aircraft at the EAA AirVenture. The engine is designed for use in large single-engine aircraft as well as twin-engine aircraft. The fuel-efficient engine retails for $170,000.
