Mobile technology, including broadband service, has enabled doctors to bring much-needed medical care to low- and middle-income Africans. "It raises our medical quality. One of the most common problems with health care providers in Kenya is that they don't have the equipment that's necessary to provide medical care," said Beatrice Ongoce, co-founder of Penda Health, which runs clinics in East Africa.
