Canadian publications offer easy native-ad platform

Several Canadian publications, including the Globe and Mail and Toronto Star, are experimenting with an easy way for marketers to set up native advertising for mobile and desktop viewing. "We're seeing rates for banners plummet along with their click-thru rate. Native ads provide an opportunity for publishers to generate more revenue, give marketers a new platform to talk to their customers and consumers access to new high-quality valuable content," said Tony Vlismas, senior director of marketing and sales development at Polar, which provides the MediaVoice platform for native ads.
