Colo. university launches global engineering program

With engineering firms earning more than half of their income from international projects, the University of Colorado is taking steps to prepare engineering students for a global workplace. The university has plans to open a language-immersion dorm where engineering students only speak Spanish, and there are plans to expand the program in the future to include other languages, such as French, Portuguese, Arabic and Mandarin.
