Crab-like robot designed for minimal disturbance of ocean floor

The six-legged agility of crabs and lobsters was the inspiration behind an undersea robot developed by the Korean Institute of Ocean Science and Technology, according to this article. The remotely piloted, car-sized device, known as the Crabster, is designed to avoid kicking up debris from the sea floor as it goes about its exploratory missions.
