A pair of Democratic senators want energy-drink makers, such as Red Bull, Monster and Rockstar, to stop advertising to children under 16. Sens. Edward Markey, D-Mass., and Richard Blumenthal, D-Conn., are pressing the American Beverage Association to raise the bar from 12 years old. Markey unsuccessfully tried to force voluntary agreements from the three companies to cease their teen marketing in a Senate panel hearing this week.
