Russian President Vladimir Putin raised eyebrows this week after releasing photos of himself holding a 46-pound pike he claimed to have caught on a Siberian fishing expedition. Some Russians suggested the giant fish had been planted for Putin to catch, and they nicknamed it "Churov's Pike" after Vladimir Churov, an electoral official suspected of rigging elections to ensure the victory of Putin's party.
