Recent vets say suicide is their biggest concern

Veterans of the Iraq and Afghanistan wars indicated in a recent survey that the biggest challenge faced by their generation of veterans is suicide. A third of respondents said they had considered suicide, and two-thirds said they knew a veteran in need of mental health care. Four-fifths of veterans said the government does a poor job of providing mental health support.
