Should all students be required to take gym class?

Some states are revisiting whether student-athletes should be required to take physical-education courses. One side says student-athletes already understand how to stay fit, while another says school sports and the PE curriculum are different -- and should be considered separately. Still, school officials in Omaha, Neb., have launched a pilot program that allows student-athletes to skip PE classes.
