U.K. regulator might examine LME's warehousing setup

The U.K. Financial Conduct Authority reportedly is weighing whether to follow in U.S. regulators' footsteps and investigate commodity trading, particularly the London Metal Exchange's warehousing system. The FCA has stayed away from physical commodities, but a source says the regulator is concerned that the LME's prominence in the metal market could be jeopardized.
