Univision marks a first with top finish in July sweeps

Univision reached a significant milestone this summer with a top ranking among all networks in the 18-to-49 and 18-to-34 demographics during July sweeps, according to Nielsen. The was due in part to typically low-traffic summer fare on the English-language networks, but it also demonstrated the strength of Univision in drawing younger audiences. "Our aggressive push to take share from the English-language networks is working," CEO Randy Falco said.
