WestJet is over premium seat launch kinks

WestJet rolled out Econo, Flex and Plus seat bundles in April, and only now the carrier says things are back to running smoothly. Many fliers saw premium seats open and decided to take advantage of them because they didn't know others had paid more for the spots, so crew members had to relocate those fliers during boarding. In addition to a low-key launch, CEO Gregg Saretsky said not marking the special seats was another mistake.
