Workshop helps small-business owners understand health insurance

With the Affordable Care Act's health insurance marketplaces, policymakers are trying to create "a culture of coverage," insurance agent Michael Lujan from Covered California said at a workshop for agents and small-business owners. The law does not require small-business owners with 50 or fewer workers to provide coverage, but employers that offer premium assistance will be eligible for federal tax credits.
