Tips on correcting job-hunting mistakes

Whether it's a mistake on an already-sent resume or running late for an interview, candidates can easily fix problems during a job search, Collegial Services founder Robin Reshwan asserts. In this blog post, she advises candidates to resend a corrected resume with an apology and be prepared to reschedule an interview. "But, no matter what the penalty, it's critical that you display your consideration of the interviewer's time by alerting him or her to the delay immediately," Reshwan writes.
