Senator takes aim at file-sharing companies

Sen. Ted Stevens, R-Alaska, last week said file-sharing companies would face consequences if they failed to crack down on pirated content being swapped on their networks. The warning follows on the heels of a Supreme Court ruling that held p2p companies liable for illegal file-trading if they actively encouraged it.
