Study: Vitamins more beneficial from food

Three new studies suggest supplemental vitamins not only cannot offer the same disease-prevention benefits found in food, but they can, in some cases, be harmful. Researchers say the pills are no substitute for a balanced, healthy diet because the body processes vitamins differently when they are taken in a pill form.
