Growth rate tightens for CPG players in China

Procter & Gamble and Colgate-Palmolive Co. were early entrants in China's market for consumer packaged goods, and in recent years they've been enjoying double-digit growth. But growth rates have leveled off lately, and analysts cite competition with rival brands and a more developed retail market as possible explanations for the deceleration.
