Cox: More regulations not needed for hedge fund industry

Christopher Cox, chairman of the SEC, told the Senate Banking Committee that the commission was poised to effectively oversee the hedge fund industry and that legislation to beef up regulations was not needed. Cox warned, however, that depending on how the market developed, future legislation might be necessary.
