Hotel sales rising, survey says

About $110 billion in global hotel transactions are expected to take place this year, up 52% from a high of $72.5 billion in 2006, according to the Hotel Investor Sentiment Survey from Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels. Global sales have already hit $56 billion for the first six months of 2007.
