Study shows veteran teachers satisfied with their work

A decade after starting, 93% of teachers said they were satisfied with their jobs, according to a National Center for Education Statistics survey of 9,000 1992-93 college graduates, of which close to 20% became teachers. The study also found that just 18% of education graduates who entered teaching changed occupations within four years.
