VW's Touareg starring in thriller of an ad

A new spot for Volkswagen's 2008 Touareg 2 from MDC's Crispin Porter + Bogusky uses extensive footage from a chase scene in the trailer for the big screen version of "The Bourne Ultimatum," but then takes a left turn to conclude with the VW tagline, "Safe happens." The TV ad is part of a reported three-year cross-promotional pact between VW AG, the German parent of Volkswagen America, and NBC Universal.
