Qualcomm completes HSPA+ data call

Using a pioneering chipset, Qualcomm said that it had made the first data connection with HSPA+ network technology and reached transfer speeds greater than 20 Mbps in a 5 MHz channel. The advanced High-Speed Packet Access Plus protocol is aimed at doubling data speeds and tripling voice capacities of carriers' current HSPA-based networks.
