Yahoo! looks for growth in "nonguaranteed" ad revenue

As Yahoo! shareholders meet today, the company said it has made some progress squeezing revenue from its core display-ad business by encouraging clients to adapt to a new "nonguaranteed" advertising model. Instead of placing ads on specifically requested Web sites, Yahoo! is trying to convince skeptical advertisers to appear on sites that appeal to a particular audience.
