Republicans had planned to go for a full repeal of the Dodd-Frank Act after Democrats, holding the majority in Congress, approved the overhaul of financial regulations last year. The general public's approval of the act and Democrats' continued power in the Senate and White House, however, have led the GOP to go after the law one measure at a time, Kevin Wack writes.
