Crash highlights hazards of jets on slick runways

Saturday morning, a Caribbean Airlines jet slid off the end of a runway in Guyana and broke into two pieces. There were no fatalities. International air-safety experts have been focusing on preventing such incidents, which represent a large portion of overall safety risks the industry faces, according to a safety official at an international organization.
