Exxon gets initial approval for pipeline-spill cleanup plan

The Environmental Protection Agency gave initial approval to ExxonMobil's cleanup plan for the crude oil that leaked from its ruptured pipeline in Montana. The company has until Monday to complete its proposal, which will direct cleanup operations, said Steve Merritt, EPA's on-scene coordinator for the pipeline spill.
